About Tabitha Toolate-Houser, MSNAL
Tabitha has been an artist, writer, educator, and storyteller since a young age. From playing school, always the teacher, she has enjoyed mentoring and inspiring others younger and older than herself. She left her professional career in social services and criminal justice to pursue her passion for her culture. She was a first-generation student, graduating from Columbia College earning her Bachelors in Psychology, then furthered her education at Southeastern Oklahoma State University where she earned her Master of Science in Native American Leadership. She now focuses on spreading awareness of Native American history, culture, current issues, and of course, sharing her passion of the arts mashed with education in her storytelling presentations.
